Learn: Each time that a city hosts a Summer Olympic Games they are asked to create their own unique mascot and logo. Here are the mascots from the Summer Olympics in London, England (2012) and in Sydney, Australia (2000).
The mascots for the upcoming Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro are Vinicius and Tom. They can be found on all of the advertisements for the Olympic Games and they have also been featured in a number of videos.

Title: Tom and Vinicius Episode 1
When I watched this short video it seemed as if this was the birth of the Rio Olympics. Tom and Vinicius realized icons that were in front of them and they both decided to follow it to wherever it went. They were both in different places and all of a sudden they had met up to where both of the icons met. Then they both made their way to Rio for the Olympics.
This video was amazing because they frequently showed the nature of Brazil.
